Beech tree small fish and chips bar in Ystrad Mynach with a selection of Fish, Chicken, Beef items as well as varieties of ice creams. Have visited multiple times and have tried Fish & Chips (~2 £) , Burger in batter (~2 £) , Quarter chicken (for 4.5 £) & Sausages from here. Everything on the menu is cheap and affordable, probably because it has schools in the vicinity. The staff is hospitable & the service is also quick. They give out tokens for orders after the payment. The place is well maintained, with minimal seating (2 benches facing the window), and is always clean and well maintained. The place is very accessibility, situated on the corner of the road in the beginning on High Street. By far the best Fish and Chip shop in the valley, in my opinion much better than the local ‘award winners’ food is always fresh and piping hot and of the best quality. Service may be a little slow at busy times but the freshness certainly makes up for it!
